Born in 1986, in Los Angeles, California, Shia LaBeouf stormed into the Hollywood scene with DJ’s role in Caruso’s thriller “Disturbia”. Born and raised in Los Angeles, LaBeouf started playing for fun at the age of three. He later attended the Magnet School of Performing Arts at USC before beginning his career as an actor. He had his first agent when he was 11.
In 1998, LaBeouf made his debut in the TV film “Breakfast with Einstein”, before being distributed in the Disney series “Even Stevens.” Over the next four years, LaBeouf’s acted on the several series and earned numerous awards.
In 2003, LaBeouf made his debut in feature films with the comedy “Holes”, based on Louis Sacher’s best seller. In the same year he played Bosley’s protégé in “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.” He starred opposite Will Smith in “I, Robot” in 2004, then in “Constantine”, a SF thriller based on the comic book Hellblazer.
The true worldwide acknowledgement came in 2007, with the role of Sam Witwicky in Michael Bay’s blockbuster, “Transformers”, whose executive producer is Steven Spielberg. Also, he voiced the character Cody Maverick, a young penguin from the Oscar nominated animation film “Surf’s Up” where he plays with Jeff Bridges, James Woods and Zoey Deschannel.
For 2010 and 2011 he is filming for Transformers 3 and Wallstreet.
