Rihanna

Robyn Rihanna Fenty (born on February 20th 1988 in Saint Michael) is a singer, musician, ksongwriter, model and dancer in Barbados. Also Known as Rihanna, she became famous in 2005 with the Single “Pon de Replay” which took second position on the Billboard Hot 100. Later the song was included on the singer’s first album, entitled “Music of the Sun”, which was launched in the summer of that year. The disc contains a mixture of pop, reggae and dancehall styles, highlighted with music influences taken from the Caribbean. In the spring of 2006 she began promoting her new studio album “A Girl like Me”, which became a commercial success, being sold in over one million copies in the U.S. only. In early 2007 she released her third album “Good Girl Gone Bad”, which includes successful compositions such as “Umbrella”, “Don’t Stop the Music” and “Disturbia.” Unlike her previous recordings, the album “Good Girl Gone Bad” contains mostly dance music, to the detriment of dancehall-reggae genre.
In early 2009 singer was involved in a huge media scandal, when her boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, committed acts of domestic violence on her. Later, at the end of 2009, she began marketing a new studio album “Rated R”, which includes the hot hits “Russian Roulette” and “Hard”.
