Joanne Stefani Angelina Germanotta (born March 28th 1986), known by his stage name Lady Gaga is an American singer, winner of several Grammy Awards. She signed her first contract with a record label at the age of 19, although the expected success came only after signing a contract with Streamline Records, a division of Interscope Records. In her early singer period she worked as a composer for many artists such as Britney Spears, Fergie and Pussycat Dolls, before Akon discovered the power of her voice, giving her a contract with his own recording company – Kon Live Distribution.

Her debut album “The Fame”, was released in August 2008 and received positive reviews from music critics. The first two songs promoted, “Just Dance” and “Poker Face”, have become international hits and received six Grammy Award nominations, including Album of the Year. After playing in the opening of “New Kids on the Block” and the “Pussycat Dolls”, in early 2009 Lady Gaga went on their first solo tour, “The Fame Ball Tour”. At the end of that year, she released her second album “The Fame Monster”, for which she promoted the huge hit single “Bad Romance”.
Since February 2010,  she sold over eight million albums and 35 million singles record, worldwide.
